FAQs

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders take approximately 3 weeks from the date of purchase to reach you. Since each piece is made slowly and goes through drying, decorating and two kiln firings, timelines can vary slightly from batch to batch. We’ll always do our best to get your pieces to you as soon as possible.

Are the timelines guaranteed?

The timelines mentioned on the website are estimates rather than guarantees. Pottery can be unpredictable, and occasionally a piece may need to be remade after firing. If there’s a significant delay with your order, we’ll get in touch with you.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Since our pieces are made to order especially for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Please have a look at all product details before placing your order.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your pottery reaches you damaged, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and share a clear, continuous unboxing video showing the unopened package and the damaged piece. This helps us verify damage that may have occurred in transit and assist you with the next steps.

Will my piece look exactly like the photograph?

Not exactly — and that’s part of handmade pottery. Every piece is shaped, painted, glazed and finished by hand, so you can expect small variations in shape, size, colour, brushstrokes, glaze and placement of details. These variations aren't considered defects; they're part of what makes every piece slightly different.

What happens if my piece doesn’t turn out as expected during firing?

Every piece goes through a quality check before it is packed. If something happens during the making or firing process and we don't feel comfortable sending the piece as is, we’ll contact you before dispatch. Depending on the piece, you may be offered a prioritised remake, a discount on your current order, or a discount on a future order.

Why does handmade pottery take three weeks?

There’s quite a bit of waiting involved! Your piece is made, slowly dried, trimmed and decorated before going through its first kiln firing. It is then glazed and fired for a second time, with cooling time required after each firing. We also make and fire pottery in small batches rather than firing individual orders separately.

Can I order a personalised or completely custom piece?

Yes. We take on selected custom and personalised orders, including names, initials, colours and other details depending on the design. Custom timelines and pricing may differ from our regular made-to-order pieces.

How should I care for my pottery?

Your pottery is made for everyday use, but handmade ceramics always appreciate a little care. Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes and handle pieces with delicate 3D details with extra care. Hand washing is the gentlest option and will help keep your piece looking its best for longer.
